Guest Musician – Walter Cogswell

Thank you to our guest musician Dr. Walter Cogswell for his musical offering this Sunday. Walter is an Organist-Choirmaster Emeritus of the Cathedral, serving here during the 1970s into the 80s. During that time, he also taught in the UW-EC Dept. of Music. From here, he moved on to the Twin Cities area, where he continued his music ministry in the Episcopal Church, most recently at Gethsemene Episcopal. Walter also performed as a violist in various orchestral ensembles, including periodical returns to Eau Claire to play in the Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra. In addition, he sang in professional choral groups of the area. Walter and his wife Joanne have relocated back to the Chippewa Valley to continue their retirement years. So welcome back to the Cathedral community, Walter and Joanne, and thank you again, Walter, for your continuing dedication to church music ministry.
