Acolytes

Acolytes

AcolytesAcolytes are people who serve our regular worship services as ministers.  This involves wearing vestments, and assisting the clergy as they perform their duties, and representing the congregation in the variety of liturgies that we take part in to worship God.  It requires some training and practice, and attention to parts of the service that might otherwise go unnoticed.  We welcome youngsters and adults alike to serve the liturgy as acolytes.  You can carry a torch, the processional cross, incense, and help to prepare the Altar for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist every Sunday of the year and many other times besides!
