Christ Church Cathedral Choir ~ start up information & rehearsal time correction

Hello Christ Church Cathedral singers!

It has been so long since I have seen many of you! Covid obviously kept us from singing together over the past year and a half (except our virtual choirs!), and I know summer is a busy time when many people spend time up north or travelling. My family has done a fair amount of that this summer, kicking off with a vacation in June to California to visit Redwood, Yosemite, King’s Canyon, and Sequoia National Parks. It felt so good to get out and spend time in the great outdoors!

I am excited to start our CCC Choir once again this fall! I had hoped things would look a little more normal, however, currently the Delta variant is setting us back a little. I am still planning to resume choir, but we will be taking precautions to make sure we do so in a safe manner for all. In accordance with CDC and local health recommendations, at this time, any person wishing to participate in choir must wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status. We will also maintain physical distance during rehearsals and plan to keep our rehearsals to 50 minutes.

We always welcome new people, so please also email me if you would like to join us. We would resume Wednesday evening rehearsals at 7:00 p.m. starting Wednesday, Sept. 8th, with our first Sunday service the following Sunday, Sept. 12th.
