Free COVID-19 Antigen Test – Eau Claire
Hello Religious Leaders of Eau Claire,
We also wanted to make sure you all know about the availability for the next month or so of a new antigen testing site.
Antigen testing is a screening test for people WITHOUT symptoms. It isn’t a perfect test so may need a follow up PCR test to confirm a positive case.
The antigen tests will be available for free at Memorial High School, on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays from 12 to 8 p.m. Appointments are needed. Current plans are for the site to remain open for the next four weeks, at minimum.
This would be a good screening tool for any staff or leaders of faith groups who may come in close contact with vulnerable populations.
Please consider testing as a way to see how prevalent COVID-19 is in people that don’t have symptoms.
Of course if you or anyone in your congregation does have symptoms, please use the regular testing sites instead:

The site has been established through a partnership of ECASD, UW-Eau Claire, the Eau Claire City-County Health Department, and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
