Virtual Choir 2.1!

Greetings again, CCC singers!
All part tracks for Hymn 423 are uploaded and ready to go! Thank you all so much. If you can find the time to submit a recording in the next few days, that would be fantastic–it spreads things out and gives Tim a chance to get a jump start on the final product. Looking forward to hearing you all again!

It is time for the next installment of our CCC virtual choir!

The music and instructions for voicings on each verse are there. The part tracks will be up as soon as they are ready! For now, practice away.

Please try to get your recordings to Tim by Friday so he has time to put it all together (and I think you can even sneak it to him on Saturday if need be!) A million thanks for all the time he and Sarah are putting in so that we may sing together!

I know it feels strange singing this way. You may listen to your recording and not feel satisfied with it (we are always most critical of ourselves). Just remember when all of our voices are combined, we don’t hear all the little imperfections! Just like in-person choir, we are there to support each other and hold each other up. You just don’t get to hear that part until later. So if your voice cracks, it’s okay! If you have to breathe and leave out a word, it’s okay! Nobody will hear it and nobody will hold that against you–especially God. 🙂
