Altar of Repose

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild are the custodians of the cathedral’s sanctuary and sacred vessels, vestments and appointments.  Their object in caring for these objects and preparing them for use in our corporate worship is that everyone’s spiritual life may be enriched and deepened through worship in the beauty of holiness.  The altar guild set up for every service and liturgy at Christ Church Cathedral, beautifying our common worship, offering hospitality to our guests, and ensuring a dignified environment for prayer.  All are welcome to join the altar guild!
